harvesting comets

hi everyone Very Happy

a question for anyone that can help, i always send an escort with my recyclers and if another player with a bigger fleet is already there harvesting, i come home short of a few ships/recyclers.
have had a few reports now of winning the comet but i never seem to destroy any of their fleet Surprised

anyone know why Question

Well for one thing, when you send your recyclers out with escort ( being the ships ) if they meet restiance, they will fight back, if you don't send an escort with ur recyclers, then they will just return home, but they can't knock anyone off a comet

the only answer i have for you is that the person that was on the comet or going to it, had more and powerful ships than you did.

untill my escort is a little bigger it would be wise to send recyclers on their own, so as not to lose any more
